Aspirants who wish to seek AP Visakhapatnam admission to diploma courses offered by AP Visakhapatnam must appear for the AP POLYCET entrance examination conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad and qualify for the same.
Candidates will be allotted seats to the diploma course of their choice at AP Visakhapatnam through the AP POLYCET counselling process.

An amount of Rs 50,000 is awarded to the scholarship recipient every year of their study as a lump sum amount for college tuition fees payment, purchase of books, purchase of equipment, purchase of laptops, software, and desktops. - Up to Two Girls per family are awarded the scholarship.
- The total family income of the candidate from all sources must not exceed Rs 8 lakhs per annum.

- The scholarship will be awarded to students in the first year of their diploma course or second year of their course if admission was secured through lateral entry.
Saksham Scholarship
This scholarship is also an initiative by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and it is aimed at helping differently-abled students pursuing technical education in any of the AICTE-approved institutions. An amount of Rs 50,000 is awarded to the scholarship recipient every year of their study as a lump sum amount for payment of college fees, purchase of computers, books, stationeries, software, equipment, etc. Check the Saksham Scholarship eligibility criteria mentioned below:

- The candidate applying for this scholarship must be having more than 40% disability.
- The total family income of the candidate from all sources must not exceed Rs 8 lakhs per annum.
