I used to go to Aryabhatta Polytechnic. It's one of the best polytechnic colleges in the area, with a really nice campus. The college is affiliated to SBTET-AP. In 2023, there were 300 seats available, with 120 for Mechanical Engineering, 120 for Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), and 60 for Civil Engineering. The total fee is Rs 72,000. You don't need super high marks in AP POLYCET to get into Mechanical Engineering. For other courses, the cutoff is high as compared to ME but overall it's not that high. A new course Diploma in CSE has been recently introduced.

Being an ex-student of Aryabhatta Polytechnic, also known as AP Visakhapatnam is one of the best polytechnic colleges in the district, not to be missed is its pollution-free campus. It is a new college and not much information is available about the college. The college is affiliated with SBTET-AP. In 2023, the seat intake was 300. I was a Civil Engineering student and our batch seat intake was 60. For other courses, it was 120. The cutoff is not that high as far as my knowledge is concerned. I got a low rank in AP POLYCET and luckily, got a seat in my preferred subject. The total fee is around Rs 72,000.
